Bio

Ioanna Hadjigeorgiou is a PhD researcher in Technology Ethics working on "Anticipatory Ethics of Self-Sovereign Identity in Data Spaces" (DC 8) within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network HARNESS. She is enrolled in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Twente, under the supervision of Dr. Yashar Saghai and Prof. dr. Philip Brey, and is a full member of the 4TU.Centre for Ethics and Technology Graduate School.

Ioanna holds an MA in Human Rights from University College London (UCL) and an interdisciplinary BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Sciences from Amsterdam University College. She has also recently completed an MA in Digital Transformation at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Prior to her PhD, she held positions in NGOs advocating for migrant rights in Cyprus and Greece and in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Offices at UCL and the University of Amsterdam.
