Bio
Kimmy is a PhD candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, supervised by Dr Paul de Hert and Dr Cristiana Santos. As part of the HARNESS network, she researches how the GDPR interacts with new data laws, from a legal-philosophical perspective.
She holds an LL.M. in Law and Technology from Leiden University, and interdisciplinary bachelor’s degrees in Politics and in Law from the University of Freiburg and Maastricht University. She has also previously worked at the University of Freiburg and Leiden University.
